About the Club Although many of the members of Dollar & Devon Vale Curling Club still come from Dollar and the surrounding area, close to the site of the club's original origins, curling today is centred upon Kinross Ice Rink at the Green Hotel. The Ice Rink has four sheets, together with excellent restaurant and bar facilities. The club operates a system of internal competition with eight Rinks competing in an Autumn League, Thirds League and a Spring League each season. There are also Pairs competitions and Points competitions held annually, together with a number of Trophy matches. Currently the club has just under 50 playing members. New members, whether beginners or experienced players, will be made most welcome. In addition to internal competitions and bonspiels, the club also enters rinks for Province events and has a number of longstanding matches against neighbouring clubs. The competitive spirit on the ice is always tempered with good sportsmanship and friendly fellowship.
